http requests to api when loading an https page #225

The code is making http requests when loading an https page.

Can the code be modified to make requests depending on the protocol without any errors.

Maybe changing the urls like for e.g. twitter: "//cdn.api.twitter.com/1/urls/count.json?url={url}&callback=?" would help
