Fix double alerts #1

Hey Julio, I've benefited from your many comments during the RoR Udemy course, as I've also been trying to complete the projects in Rails 7. Question for the message_me app: did you figure out how to disable this double-alert feature I'm experiencing? Turbo doesn't seem to be interacting with application.js very well.

Hey there! It was a long time ago now, and I suppose I either followed someone else's solution in the Q&A or did my own research on Stack Overflow (or the like) in which case I should have posted a comment myself for others to leverage later. Currently I'm deep into Python learning (on Udemy also) Also sorry, no social media (I am very old and exist outside the grid haha) Anyway, if it is any help feel free to browse my Message Me repository to shed some light on that issue :) Cheers, J.-
