"winetricks vd=..." works only first time #447

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. $ rm -r $HOME/.wine  #remove or backup $HOME/.wine
2. $ winetricks vd=800x600  #any needed resolution
3. $ wine some-app.exe  #enjoy virtual desktop, then close app
4. $ winetricks vd=off  #or winetricks vd=<anything acceptable>

What is the expected output?
Changing/disabling Virtual Desktop

What do you see instead?
Virtual Desktop doesn't change/turn off
$ winetricks vd=off
/usr/bin/winetricks: 17944: /usr/bin/winetricks: cannot create 
/home/redneck/.wine/dosdevices/c:/windows/temp/vd.reg: Directory nonexistent
Executing winetricks_early_wine regedit C:\windows\Temp/vd.reg

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
winetricks r1210 (20140817 - sha1sum: aa170f8016a17d631d055c3d1872d4a15b0f0e0a)
wine 1.7.31 from git
Xubuntu 14.04 32bit
