Emoji Not Inserting #687

Emoji is not inserted on keyboard normally(I clicked on them too many times in video which worked). However it works when I click on any emoji section from above.

Device: Redmi 8A Dual (Lineage OS 20/Android 13) App Version: 1.28.0 (F-Droid)

I have the same issue. Typically to write an emoji I have to change the "emoji tab" then it will start inserting emojis in the selected text box.
