Convert bookmark command does not work exactly according to UG #9

Open JunCheng98 opened 3 years ago

UG description says the convert bookmark command converts, for example, a bookmark expense to a normal expense and adds it to the expense list, but that bookmark expense still remains in the bookmark section. The idea of converting suggests that the bookmark expense will be shifted to the expense list and removed from the bookmark section, but it remains there after being 'converted'. Suggest better wording for the description.

Team's Response

A bookmark expense is a template that allows users to create expenses that you make frequently. Users can then convert bookmark expenses repeatedly to create as many expenses as they want. This is shown in our user guide as seen below:

Hence the behaviour of converting a bookmark expense is consistent with our user guide description of what a bookmark expense is.

Furthermore to give you an example of why this behaviour is consistent, imagine that a user has monthly phone bills to pay for. As a user, they can create a bookmark expense with the relevant details of the phone bills such as the title, amount and description once. Then whenever the user pays their monthly bills, instead of typing all the details again the user just has to execute the convert-bookmark command to convert the bookmark expense to create an expense and the bookmark expense will still be there for future conversions as there will still be monthly bills to be paid in the future.

The reason why we changed the severity of this bug to VeryLow is because whether or not a bookmark transaction stays in the bookmark list does not cause any inconvenience to the user.
