Unfortunately we don't have a milestone for PPPoE yet. I think it's not that straightforward to add the implementation. However, if you'd like to contribute, some of the areas you might have to change/extend are:
- ethernet processing (tpg_ethernet.c) where you'd need to handle PPP type traffic and call the corresponding PPPoE state machine implementation
- once you reach the IP layer in your decapsulation you could potentially call the IP processing APIs (tpg_ipv4.h) and continue processing as for regular IP over Ethernet frames
- in the reverse direction you'd need to store some information in the control block (this is already on our roadmap) to determine how you need to encapsulate packets at every level in the stack
- also, not sure right now how you'd be able to deal with RSS hashing.. If packets from a single session get spread between multiple receive lcores you'd need synchronization between lcores which would definitely affect performance. An alternative would be to have a fast message/pkt passing interface for communicating between lcores (also on our roadmap).

Is there mileston to support PPPoE in WARP? If not, is it easy to be plugged in by myself ? I am quite new to WARP17, any advice would be appreciated. I am sorry that I can only put questions here instead of WARP google group.
