Summary

It's weirdly hard to support the shows! There is nowhere I can see on the website dedicated to sponsors and how to become one!

I have been spending a good 30 minutes and still have not been able to set up Fountain.fm for a quick boost, and I am not exactly incompetent. Maybe add specific guides that show how to support you? I planned to write this in a boost, but I cannot get around and doing it, because my phone stubbornly refuses to create a wallet on fountain, and I have been copypasting on a phone back and forth for way too long now

Hi! Thanks for opening an issue!

Show sponsors are at https://www.jupiterbroadcasting.com/sponsors/ and sponsors are also displayed on the page of each episode.

If you are looking to sponsor one of the shows, your best bet would be to use the contact form at https://www.jupiterbroadcasting.com/contact/

HI Everyone. Quick update. After a LOT of struggles, I managed to setup the Fountain app (which is super buggy on the iphone by the way, and very unresponsive on social). Sadly it's basically impossible for me to top up the Moonpay account from the UK as both my banks are blocking the payment and refusing to unblock it even after having spent more than 30 minutes on the phone.

All in all: attempting to send a boost has been extremely frustrating, and I will have to desist, which is a shame. I'd rather send a one off from time to time than add yet another subscription. I understand the ethics around the choice, but once again it probably should be easier to send money (at least to the SelfHosted show, which is also into a sponsorship winter)

As for the earlier comments, I would advice to add a section of the website dedicated to would be sponsors. Even a simple "Are you a company interested in sponsoring one of our shows? Get in touch at ..." would help

I understand the Bitcoin struggles, not really my cup of tea. Just a note, the membership has a monthly option. You could subscribe for a month and cancel to make a one time donation.

Fair point on the sponsor message, while Chris often says it. It's not written down. We encourage and will gladly accept an PR as that is also a way to give to the network/shows.
