I guess we could copy the image files at the corresponding places, but this seems like an unnecessary duplication. @fbennett Is there actually a reason that these two sections are in a separate directory? I guess that the problem can also be fixed by moving these sections out of a separate directory (and move the images from csl-m/ to _static/images/).
The CC-BY-SA image is not loaded on pages in a separate subdirectory, i.e.
