I would like to suggest some additional text for the home screen to highlight a possibly neglected functionality of this plugin for note taking / research.
This plugin greatly facilitates note taking because it allows the source of the note or reference to be recorded, together with a link back to the original source. This was the original idea behind the hyperlink functionality - to enable one to check back to the original source in case of any query or desire for further information from the source.
Generally, for note-taking systems, whether paper (index card) or online (notational velocity or Zettelkasten inspired systems), the most efficient system is to have one idea per note. An ODF type reference on each note with the source and the location (such as the page number) permits the researcher to easily record the source.
The functionality is increased obviously by the fact that these notes and references can subsequently be used when writing to create live Zotero references.
I'd be happy to have a first go at drafting a short paragraph outlining this functionality if it would be helpful?
