Crafting Badges #1887

Feature request

Purpose

I am currently trying to get all my bots to a certain given level, and for that I am sending them complete card inventories and after searching through ASF's wiki, I was surprised to find there was no such command and/or config to make a bot level up until a given level.

Solution

I would think a command to craft badges using cards until a given level, OR having a config for the bot to craft a badge as soon as it can until it reaches a certain level would be the way to go.

Why currently available solutions are not sufficient?

It is completely impossible in the current version of ASF.

Does your suggestion fall into ASF scope?

I believe so, the goal is to use said collected card to level up the bot to a certain level to make certain users afraid of "low level bots always being scams" feel safer.

Is your suggestion abiding to Steam guidelines?

I believe so.

Additional info

None provided.

Hey there! Thank you for contacting our development team at GitHub.

I'm sorry but we're not able to consider your enhancement to the project.

Before you open an issue please review the contributing guidelines for this repository. (...) ASF has rather strict scope - idling Steam cards from Steam games + basic bots management. ASF scope is very subjective and evaluated on practical/moral basis - how much this feature fits ASF, how much actual coding effort is required to make it happen, how useful/wanted this feature is by the community and likewise.

In particular, we've found out your issue to be out of the scope of ASF project. ASF includes plugins system which can be used for implementing such functionality.

Please check out contributing suggestions for further explanation. As we have no interest in implementing this functionality ourselves, this issue will be closed.

Have a nice day! ~Archi
