This template wont even load in VS and instructions are incorrect #9

This template is munched. wont even load in visual studio 2013.

Here is the error. "Creation of virtual directory http://spaAuth.localtest.me:65489 failed with the error: Cannot create the Web site 'http://spaAuth.localtest.me:65489. You must specify 'localhost' for the server name."

I looked at your instructions.

Why do I have to go messing around with my IIS settings to get this template to work? Seems a bit strange to me. Shame because it would likely be a good template.

Hey @nigel-dewar you'll have to edit your IIS-Express settings because twitter and a few other of the third-party auth providers don't support localhost. localtest.me will forward to localhost and make it so that you can still test with third-party auth providers.

Can you edit you IIS Express settings and see if it works?

Hi Justin.

I tried this (editing settings in IIS Express ) but to no effect. The issue is the solution will not even load in Visual Studio full stop. Have you found this to be an issue? With other people also.

First time Ive ever seen a solution so buggered it wouldn’t even load. Im not sure what IIS settings have to do with a solution not even loading.
