presence fails to reconnect after steam deck wakes from sleep mode

,, when putting the steam deck to sleep, the script recognizes it as it no longer being played which is to be expected. however, upon turning the steam deck back on, it fails to reconnect until you relaunch the game

it just fetches what game you're playing from your steam account, if it says you're playing the game on steam, it should get picked up by the program

that's what I thought but it ceases to recognize a application is open again or something of the sort I'd assume

is steam presence running on the steam deck itself?

if so, discord might've gone to sleep??

no, I'm running it on my windows laptop which only turns off it's screen - 'never turns itself off since it's always plugged in AC

huh, odd - i have NO idea what's going on, i'm currently more or less rewriting the program, so maybe that'll fix it?? very unsure
