Feel free to tell all the ideas you want, according to the description of the website given in the Readme file.
angular?
Hi, thanks for the interest
Yes, I think to it too.
But I'm asking myself if it will be good for data management
what about mean stack
Huh... Don't know it before. I'll read about it
Are we going to use a framework in development?
We're thinking to angular for the front-end
Hi guys, why you didn't finish the website? Can I help? let's reborn this project guys and make Africa better
before development we should gather the requirements clearly and correctly, design high level architecture, design use case diagrams, EER Diagram...etc
@Rebaiahmed we have been looking for the best way to implement this for the lasts months. Either it will make sense to release a standalone service/platform or integrate it with an existing service.
We are also getting in touch with different institutions on the African continent and else which are working to promote traditional knowledge.
We could be able to start thinking about technical implementation once these are achieved.
But in the meanwhile, you're welcome to suggest any ideas about the project.
I mean @johav and I when I say 'we'.
I'm comfortable with full-stack js development, React Angular Nodejs Graphql MongoDB, We can use AWS or Azure for deployment and hosting, But we need to prepare the use cases and functionality offered by our platform
I'm comfortable with full-stack js development, React Angular The Only Real Dev Language™ Graphql MongoDB, We can use AWS or Azure for deployment and hosting, But we need to prepare the use cases and functionality offered by our platform
We can work together in this document:https://docs.google.com/document/d/1NKExyQPU104yrq8bn1-zv-jULIHEvLuR0b_1yge8HhY/edit?usp=sharing
Maybe better to keep strategy dev here in Github for now? We can build on what Justin already developed in the Mozilla program and since. Let's revive the AOR and maybe start with developing a landing page that's based on Github? (like the one we had in the beginning for AfricArXiv) Some resources on ITK: access2perspectives.com/services/indigenous-science/ And specifically for Africa: info.africarxiv.org/indigenous-science-in-africa/
In this issue, we'll discuss about the different technologies and maybe programming languages that we'll use for the website.
