Sadly, my branch with tests on it is also tied to the refactor of all the models. We should get some automated tests up and running.

Recommendations:

[ ] Pytest for testing
[ ] Tie in to CI/CD for each commit, consider Jenkins, Travis CI, others
[ ] Perhaps start with tests for any new code- TDD is great! and tests for the old code are in development
