Alternately, if you are not planning on updating the addon, please let us all know which version of Firefox it should still work with as per the previous releases available here; https://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/firefox/releases/
FWIW, I've been using the "Video DownloadHelper" extension for quite a while now (https://www.downloadhelper.net/) and never missed the HDS Link Detector.
Since I like to know what's going on and avoid browser download mechanisms as much as possible I usually use the extension's menu to copy the video URL and then paste it into a player like VLC or QMPlay2, or feed it to ffmpeg which will download and remux most streams just fine for anything I don't want to watch immediately.
Firefox will be disabling support for all legacy addons when version 57 comes out in November. Do you have any plans to update the HDS Link Detector addon to support the new addon API?
