Shortcut doesn't show up in menu (Linux Mint 19.3) #22

After user installl + running config tool, shortcut file is created in ~/.local/share/applications, but no Ipmlab item can be found in menu.

Side note: ~/.local/share/ dir on this machine didn't initially even contain an "applications" dir, which is a bit suspicious. This all works OK on Linux Mint 20.1, so perhaps some default location has changed between those versions?

Update - in further test on 14 Nov 2022 the shortcut does work (also on LM 19.3), but for some reason the config app keeps hanging and must be killed from the system monitor. Works fine on LM 20.1. All for user install.

Closing since LM 19.3 is not the target platform, and support will cease in April 2023 anyway.
