Install on ubuntu 14.04 #45

I've followed the steps listed here https://github.com/KETSE/casebox/wiki/How-to-install-Casebox-on-a-fresh-Ubuntu-14.04.

However I keep getting the same error and cannot figure out what it is.

Any ideas?

Hi @wjstone , try to access solr interface on http://127.0.0.1:8983/solr/admin/ and check logs. If no errors in logs - try to create the core by accessing the url from your screenshot.

@wjstone, in 1-2 days Casebox2 will be released. You'll be able to install it as a VM using vagrant. Inside it's an Ubuntu machine. see: https://github.com/KETSE/casebox-vagrant

I'll comment in this post when it's done & documented.
