Hi, what browser do you use so I can test under your environment. Or, if you are familiar, check browser console for any js error. Try again to change password, could be that you passwords mismatch, although it should display corresponding message.
I'm using Firefox 47.0 on Ubuntu 16.04 amd64. Tried Chromium as well, version 51.0.2704.79 Ubuntu 16.04 (64-bit). Same result.
I'm not sure what to look for in Firefox's Web Console, though. If there are any error logs related to this, would they go anywhere else aside from nginx's log files?
Just to be sure that I didn't forget anything, I created a new VM on Digital Ocean, and followed the instructions again. Still the same result.
Ubuntu 14.04.4 x64 droplet on Digital Ocean.
Only difference from the instructions is that my MySQL DB is on an external server, and that the Solr version is now 6.1.0.
I see the casebox db on the remote mysql being populated, so I think we can rule that out as a potiential source of the problem.
I tried creating a user, and noticed something at the top of the screen:
I believe that that is a good lead! Any suggestions on where to look next? I think the admin password change screen has the same problem, difference being that the background opacity effect on the admin password change screen might be hiding the error notice.
@tvitalie , any ideas?
So far, I've executed the instructions on two separate Ubuntu 14.04 VMs on Digital Ocean.
Hi, Any Result for this Problem Found ?
I have a Same Problem,Please Help me
I've followed the instructions detailed in Issue #50 and it did start up, but I can't change the "root" user password. Anybody have an idea how to fix/troubleshoot this? Nothing happens when I click "OK".
Nothing in the nginx error logs, either.
