failure to load pictures #71

Linux Ubuntu 18 and QGIS 3.12.3

I am unable to load images. I see from the issues below that others have experienced the same problem. Could you please give advice?? thanks

There are two issues:

  1. The error that I described above can be solved by reinstallation of ImportPhotos (either 2.2.2 or 2.2.3). Thereafter it will perform just one load. Any repeat returns the error above.
  2. Even if the load completes, it does not in fact load any pics. (I have checked that the pics contain geo info). Probably other ubuntu users are happily loading their pics! But I have been trying various options for 2 days now - and I really cant diagnose the issue.

We are working on resolving this issue. In the midtime, you can use Import Geotagged Photos to upload the photos and you can use the "Click Photos" plugin of the import photos to open the images.
