Hello Mark and other VIC-model users! First of all, fantastic work and thanks for the scripts you are providing. Without these, I think running the model would be mission impossible to me. I have two questions and I hope one of you can help me out with these :)

  1. I am a windows user and I would like to use the pre defined Ubuntu version which is supposed to be provided as an OVA file in the google drive link. However, the google drive does not work anymore, could one of you maybe send the file to me or upload it here? To work around this in case I cannot get access to an OVA file, I have installed ubuntu myself and now I try to follow the guide for linux users, however, when running the commands, I get some error messages along the way that some links and files cannot be found, especially for panoply and qgis. Is it possible that these links or clouds have changed domains in the past years? I can install panoply myself, as for qgis, I do not know which extensions and settings will be necessary to let the scripts run properly. Is there anybody who can help here?
  2. When reading through the VIC-Setup-commands file, I notice that there are two preprocessing steps, that are performed prior to the execution of the VIC-setup commands which I cannot find back in the youtube tutorial or in anywhere else. Can someone explain how to clip all the datasets to the basin extent in a simple way? If I have to do this manually, that will take a very long time. Secondly, the derivation of the slope, flow direction and gauge watershed. I do not know how to do this, except for that I can download a flow direction file from the hydrosheds webpage. Again, if somebody can show how this can be done, I would be very grateful!

Thanks a lot already, you might be saving my bachelor thesis :)
