Does your distro have xdg-user-dirs package installed?

KRTirtho commented 5 months ago

Spotube usually installs itself required deps if using deb or rpm or through Flatpak and AUR. If you use .tar version you've to install the dependencies manually

xBireNx commented 5 months ago

I am using Fedora. And install spotube through Flatpak.

I have the same problem. Using NixOS. My issue is that if I don't unlock gnome-keyring before starting Spotube (and even if I unlock the keyring upon Spotube's request), it still loses my spotify & last.fm credentials.

I am also getting this issue (Fedora Kinoite using Flatpak). Every other time I open the spotube I get a KDE window that reads "There have been repeated failed attempts to gain access to a wallet. An application may be misbehaving."

My guess is the issue is with the Flatpak not having KWallet permissions, though I am not sure how to grant it them on Plasma 6
