Error Authentication Failure (code: 401) #1268

Is there an existing issue for this?

Current Behavior

Both the Android and Windows 10 version gives me this popup everytime I launch them:

Error Authentication Failure Exception: Failed to get access token: (code: 401, message: Unauthorized)

Expected Behavior

The software to run normally and be usable.

Steps to reproduce

  1. Open app.
  2. See the popup.

Operating System

Pixel 6a, Android 14, GraphoneOS | Windows 10 64bit

v3.4.1

Hello, I got the exactly same problem on linux app, since today (worked fine a few days ago). (edit : Ideed, restart the connexion procedure seems to work)

Hey, I encountered the same issue when I first installed this. However, I managed to resolve it by disconnecting my Spotify account from Spotube within the settings tab.

same here on Android 13 (spotube 3.6.0 from F-Droid). Log out and in again worked, but only until next app start, then the same error returns

Same for me, on Linux (Flatpak). Logging out and back in with a new sp_dc token helps, but that also seems to be only temporarily. After some time (sometimes a few hours, sometimes a day) I get an 'OAuth invalid_token' error when searching, and have to repeat the trick.

I'm experiencing same issue. I received an email from Spotify saying that they reset my pwd due to an unsual coonection... I have to reset spotify password and re-login, if works till next day (I get same Spoti email)
