Crashing when playing music #1755

Is there an existing issue for this?

Current Behavior

When I'm clicking on the play button the app is force closed.

Expected Behavior

Should play the music seamlessly

Steps to reproduce

  1. Open app
  2. Choose and play any Play music

Operating System

Android

Spotube version

3.7.1-nightly

Installation source

Facing the same issue too on latest nightly. My experience is on Android too.

  1. Tried different sources.
  2. Tried as guest sign in as well as Spotify log in.
  3. It just plays for 2 seconds maximum which involves background playing when the force close pop up occurs.

Still crashing in the build nightly build, release on 9th August. I don't see dev taking any interest in bugs anymore.

Dev doesn't seem interested anymore. From past 3-4 updates the nightly build isn't working.

Same here, Android 15 last beta on the last nightly. The stable release work !
