There's no regular comms/nav satellite contracts that use them anymore, so I think the nav payload bar actually does nothing at all, and the comms payload bar only affects the repeatable geosat contract. The repeatable comms and nav sat contracts that used to use them no longer exist.
Personally i would like repeatable satellite contracts to be configurable if at all possible but if not, the bars should probably go away.
Ballatik suggested on Discord that the sliders should be changed to a multiplier (1-10x) since the different contracts (geo, molniya, comms, etc) have different payload amounts, which I think is a good idea. I think it would be cool if the multipliers applied to all repeatable contracts.
I'm fine with replacing the random range in a contract with a slider output. I am not fine with letting the player select outside of that range, because the contracts are serving specific purposes.
