Mid-burn Engine Failures Not Working #253

When playing RP-1 I have noticed when I get loss of performance/thrust or engine shutdown, the engines in question show no indications of their failure. Failed engines continue burning until I use the PAW button to "Shutdown Engine" at which point they do shut down and the avionics react to the loss of thrust. Engines that fail to ignite or shut down during pad failures seem to function as intended, as well as one engine shutdown I got immediately after ignition on an HG-3 upper stage. Attached a few images of a booster with a pile of NK-9 engines I made for testing this and it seems to shake out that way every time.

My only other experience with mid-burn failures has been the XLR rocketplane engines where over-burning them for far too long will cause them to violently explode and the MTBF number to drop in the Test Flight window.

I have also experienced this issue, and it persisted even through a complete re-install of the game (using CKAN express install). It seems to be tied to the save itself, creating a new save resulted in TF behaving as expected.

Upon further observation, only one save in particular experiences this issue. Other saves made before or after function as expected.

If the issue is tied to a save then it's probably best to upload that save. Ideally it should be as close to Express install as possible.
