cat /proc/sys/net/ipv4/ip_conntrack_max (as the max)
cat /proc/sys/net/ipv4/netfilter/ip_conntrack_count (as the current)
lots of installations slowly creep toward this and then have outages. This
would be useful (IMO) as part of the standard Linux/Unix template.
