Import biomass: Jena 2018 #206

Entered with updated biomass values (g/m^2)

Hi Christiane,

Thanks again for participating in DroughtNet. After reviewing summary stats for your site's ANPP values, it looks as though the 2018 and 2019 data was not reported in g/m^2, unless it was much less productive than your other years. Could you please double check the 2018 data and let me know what the units are? Thanks so much!

Dear Kate, possibly, I forgot to scale up our data to g/m^2 before sending the data. Thus, I send the 2018 and the 2019 data again. Now, all biomass data are in g/m^2. In the 2019 data I also corrected a species (Valerianella locusta to V. carinata), where I found fruiting individuals this year (the two Valerianella species clearly differ in the shape of their fruits). Hi Christiane,

Thanks again for sending this update! I was also curious about the change to your first drought treatment application date. You previously listed this as 2015-05-01, but in these new files, it is listed as 2015-03-15. Which is the correct date?

P.S. Are the "herbs" you all list herbaceous or woody?

Sept 2020: Dear Kate,

We installed our roofs on 2015-03-15 (mid-March is start of the growing season in our region); the "herbs" listed in the files are all herbaceous species. Sorry for confusion.
