I don't really see the KPAM making the transition from what was at best a small partisan movement into something capable of seriously contesting other state-building efforts in Korea, especially considering their anarchistic nature.
In OTL, there existed an autonomous zone of anarchists in Shinmin, Manchuria (near the Korean border) known as the "Korean People's Association in Manchuria" from August of 1929 to September 1931. Despite the federation ceasing to be as an entity, many of its former inhabitants remained as partisans fighting alongside Chinese communists in Manchuria & Korea until 1945. Considering Korea is pretty barebones at the moment, perhaps something akin to the KPAM but on a larger scale could be a possible path for them in a future rework.
