AI Japan ended up conquering Australia and it released a Nat-Pop puppet. However, from what I remember, Nat-Pops in Australia are pro-Dominion compared to their Pat-Aut counterparts (who are isolationist). Also the flag still sports a union jack. My suggestion is that Japan is scripted to not release a Nat-Pop Australia (who are violently pro-British) and change the flag a bit for the puppet.
