Quick questions HOI4 version: 1.10.5 Kaiserreich version: 0.17.1
Describe the specific change you would like: The idea is when Siam or INC regain their claimed territory, especially Siam, it should have special buff called "Mekong Economy" for control Mekong river. This buff should give more population recruit (for have more territory for plant rice) and economic boost (river trade) and it should unlock decision to improve territory that surround Mekong (Laos, Samaburi, Isan, Battambang, Pnom Penh, Mekong Delta, Stung Treng) which is give more civil factory, infrastructure or even military factory.
Problem is there is no a single country really "control" the whole Mekong river. Siam will control all Mekong river all the way down except at Mekong Delta like this.
INC will control all the Mekong area, but the only problem is they only control most of the right side of Mekong river like this.
So, my idea to fix this but I think it will make this look "Very Cursed" for both by let each other control the "whole Mekong river" which it will look like in the picture below.
Yes, INC will control Isan and Siam will control Mekong delta. It's look very cursed for Siam without Isan area. But talking about possibility I think it "maybe possible" but very hard to achieve.
Siam can claim Mekong Delta as a part of Cambodia which today IRL some Cambodian still call those area "Kampuchea Krom" so Siam can bring Cambodian to settle in this new territory as a part of integration program but yeah it will be very complicated.
For INC I heard about operation that I don't sure if it real or not because it look like a kind of rumor, as OTL when Vietnamese invaded Cambodia and push all the way to Thai-Cambodia border. Vietnam come with idea that they call "L operation" again I have no idea if it real or not but it seem like Vietnam will capture the whole Isan under their management. This can adapt into Kaiserreich as Vietnam will control Isan and promote Laotian identity in those area and integrate them into Laos as a part of INC. Well it look very hard to achieve for real but just an idea.
Again, it not necessary for Siam or INC to control Mekong like those cursed picture above because if Siam or INC can reclaim their loss territory, it mean they achieve dominance over Indochina and economic from losing side should rely on the winning side. So, they don't need to control the whole Mekong just win against the opposition and they should get this buff.
