The only reason Brittany would exist is to serve German interests and the only way it can exist is through a constant military presence of the German army. If the German Empire is no more, it would realistically immediately rejoin to France from both economic and cultural reasons.

This happen after playing as Russia, the CoF defeated and Germany created Brittany. I killed Germany, the Reichspakt dissolved and that country was still around, as opposed to Lombardy and Venice that eventually joined the Italian Empire.
