GRE/CYP - Georgios Grivas leaves for Cyprus and never comes back #18998

Quick questions OS: Windows 10 HOI4 version: Current Kaiserreich version: Current List any other mods used: the KR model submods Were you using Steam? Yes Were you in multiplayer? No Which expansions do you NOT have? None

Explanation of the issue: When Cyprus revolts from the Ottomans, Georgios Grivas is removed from Greece and transferred to Cyprus as their main general. Once Cyprus peaces out with the Ottomans, they're supposed to reunite with Greece and Grivas is supposed to come back, Although cyprus does get annexed and cored, Grivas isn't returned. It's a pretty bad issue, since he's presented as your best general whenever you start a Greece game.

Note: When I did this, I went with the Megali idea and was able to peace out with the Ottomans a day after they peaced out with the Cairo pact. That shouldn't change anything about this event though, it should work the same way even if Greece never fights the Ottomans.

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Have Cyrprus revolt from the Ottomans

  2. Have the Cairo pact + Cyprus win the war

  3. Once the event comes up for Cyprus to get annexed by Greece, Grivas isn't returned despite the event saying he would be.

Possible cause: Probably just a NSB character issue
