The situation where the second option makes sense is if you play from the king's perspective, as PP gain is tied to paternal autocrat popularity instead of national populist one. Though I did still change it as you suggested. The attack doesn't cause instability because of public outrage, it causes instability because you are allowing violent mobs to do as they wish, ignoring rule of law - it's not going to be just one attack but general decrease in safety in the streets.

Describe the specific change you would like: Change the penalty of the event "Legionaires attack synagogues" for the first option from -6% stability and +4% natpop popularity to -4% stability and +4% natpop popularity and the second option from -4% stability and -4% natpop popularity to -0% stability and -4% natpop popularity Explain the reasoning behind this actionable change: Gameplay-wise, gaining political power at the start, for decision and economic/military stuff, is more important than gaining stability, which can be easily gained and capped multiple times( legionaries' path). It thus makes no sense for why a player to ever choose the second option that hurts both his stability and political power gain, when he can choose the first one and receive a major stability hit, but gain more party popularity and thus more PP gain overall. I suggest simply giving the choice between PP and stability easier and less punishing so to speak, where you have a choice between gaining more pp at the expense of your stability and one where you only lose pp gain. It personally makes more sense lore-wise. Codreanu is a pragmatist who understands politics. If he chooses to give the radicals a free hand it would cause more destabilization across the country, but would gain his support among his base. But if he punishes the radicals, he would lose some support with them, but would ( or at least try to) make himself look like he tries to be "less crazy", so to speak Additional context or comments: Antisemitism is a common thing in Romania and normalized at this point, even more so than OTL cuz Romania lost the weltkrieg so the Jews being targeted for "stabbing Romania in the back" many years prior to the Legion ascension to power. I highly doubt attacking Synagogues would generate such a public outrage that justifies -6% stability
