Explanation of the issue:
I don't know if this is WAD or not, but in the Fading Sun peace deal, I was able to take all of GEA as SHX. I wasn't fully paying attention to the situation in Southeast Asia, but I think what happened is that Japan occupied Vietnam, which the Federalists (who I was in the United Front with) then occupied.
I also don't know if it's WAD that I was able to take everything (both from GEA but also from Fengtian and the Legations). I just demanded everything constantly until the AI gave up. I did have a bit more war score than all the other participants, but this seems quite ridiculous.
Steps to reproduce:
Let Japan invade and occupy GEA.
Push them out of China and Korea to get the Fading Sun event.
Observe that you can take GEA land.
Possible cause:
I don't understand the Fading Sun peace deal so I really don't know.
