TUR - 1940 election event fires repeatedly #22244

Quick questions OS: Windows 10 HOI4 version: v1.12.12.456f Kaiserreich version: 0.24.2 List any other mods used: None Were you using Steam? Yes Were you in multiplayer? No Which expansions do you NOT have? No Step Back By Blood Alone Save file OHF Election Event Repeating.zip Logs (At least game and error log) code_revisions.zip Sorry, was the only log with stuff in it Explanation of the issue: Playing the Ottomans in the Kemal OHF path, once the 1940 election happens in January 1940 the event will repeat itself every in game day indefinitely

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Play a normal OHF Ottomans game with all reforms (missed the Kemalist Officers before Kemal died)

  2. After the War in the Desert and 1940 starts the event will fire and repeat itself

Possible cause: Might be because I was messing around with console, but has happened on all three saves

While the issue is confirmed as present in your save, we have not been able to reproduce this on a new game despite repeated attempts. Do you remember if you used the console to change ruling parties?

I didn’t use console to change parties, it might’ve just not been working with me properly. I’ll try reinstalling to see if itll fix it

Hi!

Did reinstalling it fix it for you? As we couldn't reproduce it, and both HoI4 and KR has updated since, I will close the issue. Reopen it if it persists for you.

I haven’t really played hoi4 for a while so I’ll check later, thanks for your efforts though!
