Ottoman empire, Emirate of cyerenaica and Sultanate of Najd #24917

Quick questions OS: HOI4 version: Current one Kaiserreich version: Lastest as of July 19 List any other mods used: Non Were you using Steam? yes Were you in multiplayer? No Which expansions do you NOT have? Only lacking the last Dlcs, the Nordic one, and the south America ones.

Explanation of the issue:

Two issues around the war in the desert:

One, the sultanate of Najd can't join the war because the decision for it requires them to be at peace: And they can get stuck in an endless, non winnable AI war with muscat if they invade but Muscat still keeps the small peninsula the ottomans give back to them when Persia tries to take it. This takes Najd completely out of the war.

Two, the Emirate rebellion can launch too late, too close to the dessert war so they overlap. The issue comes with the fact the Emirate seem to have a scripted peace deal with the ottomans: Thus they peace out in the middle of the dessert war. This can mean the death of tons of Egyptians in Libya if they get trapped on the other side. It also means, apparently, that the Emirate cannot rejoin (Or when join) the Cairo pact.

Steps to reproduce:

For the Najd one:

  1. As the ottomans, choose to give back muscat their peninsula the Persians take, Khasab.
  2. Then, simply don't help muscat once Najd attacks them. Najd will never be able to cross to Khasab, and muscat will survive the war unscathed when the ottomans eventually come around and crush them

For the Emirate

1 It seems that if the Emirate launches their rebelling too close to the start of the Dessert war they will overlap and they will eventually peace out with all their lands.

Possible cause:

Perhaps removing Najd's requirement for the joining the pact will help here, as it requires them to be at peace For the Emirate, it seems the cause is that they don't have an option to join the Cairo pact after they peace out.
