Crash to desktop upon planning a naval invasion. #25

Windows 10 Version: 0.5.2

When setting up units for a naval invasion the game crashes when left clicking on a friendly port.

"Do you have this issue in vanilla?" - No "Were you in multiplayer?" - No "Were you running other mods?" - No

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Select army and click the anchor icon to begin setting up a naval invasion.

  2. Left click a friendly port to launch from.

  3. Immediately Crashes

Other info: This happens with any nation, from any port, with any units, at any point in the game. I have deleted and reinstalled both the game and the mod. Didn't fix it.

Possible cause: I read once that mods that tamper with straits/naval crossing can cause this. IDK though as it seems that no one else has this problem; it seems like it would be more prevalent.

Plz help.

Have you cleared out your install/mod folders before reinstalling?

I think so. The one in Documents\Paradox Interactive\Hearts of Iron IV? Yeah I deleted that whole folder before re-installation.

Both that folder, and the steam install folder?

I'm not sure, is that the one in steam/steamapps/common? If so yes.

Yes that's the one. Unsurprisingly this is not an error with the mod but with your local install....hm...

Open up vanilla without any mods. a) is this CTD present there? b) do you have the correct checksum for 1.4.2 (a48d)?
