Suggestion: Ireland Quality of Life Improvements #3453

Hello there, a few thoughts on the irish focus tree, feel free to ignore or implement whatever you like.

-Make Mobile Warfare and Superior Firepower exclusive (I believe this is intended and thus a bug)

-Move the syndicalist foci into the decisions. Going Syndie doesn't deliver any real "content" in the focus tree, despite joining the Internationale and its research group aswell as picking your ideology via a focus in the politics tree. Anything ideology related runs via events anyway and it would make the focus tree less bloated.

-Focus Tree Completion time: In my current game I'm in late 1943 and I've calculated that the focus tree takes roughly takes another 5 years to complete (without anything optional that might be locked through the game). While I love there being so much content some of it becomes pointless as time goes on. Especially research boni, since Ireland has very strong base-research unless you neglect the 3 foci for it in the development-branch of the tree. In my opinion it would be slightly better to set the basic focus time for everything to 60 days (some foci are already adjusted to low times, I've taken that into my calculations). The base game just doesn't deliver enough material past 1943 in terms of research, which makes a lot of foci you might have not taken yet plainly obsolete (I've barely touched my military branches yet and i'm up to date in everything I use in 1943).

-Naval Issues: This might become changed anyway with MtG, but here's the current situation: Since you introduced your own naval tech, getting the possibility to use capital ships has become a massive pain or impossible for Ireland, which is included in the tree. While it is possible to gain the decisions for FBB's if you shift your entire Economy on building civs and dockyards it isn't really viable anymore at all. Especially the Carrier focus is pointless since you don't have enough building slots and no expansion options to increase them (sure you can try invading the UoB without your naval tree). To make this content meaningful again you could either enable Ireland the naval decisions, either by respective foci that affect that tech or by default (they even have the generic starter techs for all ships) or give them a possibility to clear land for more dockyards somehow. Also the 2nd doctrine research should be dependent on whatever you chose in the 1st, it makes no sense to switch it.

-Tree GUI readjustments: The Tree is rather big and by shifting some things around it could look alot better. I'm assuming here you've killed the 3 syndie foci and made them into decisions, they just take away space. 3 2 1

"Autarky" looks pretty awkward, so changing the positions of the internal politics and the development branch should be imperative. By moving the "An Chomhdhail.." to decisions you can just easily make the int. pol. branch smaller. The same goes for the foreign policy branch, by removing the two foci and switching "protection" with "better the devil" you can shift them closer together with the ancestral ties path. Switching "Neither King nor Kaiser" and "Kaiser" makes Autarky look even less lost if you place it further left between the foreign pol and dev branch. The Army branch is hard to make compact due to its dependencies, nevertheless setting the two doctrines next to each other and moving the army type branches to each other would clean it up a bit. To do this you'd also have to move "Irish citizen Army" and "Women in the Army" to the left. "Establish an Officer school" is dependant on "prof. army" or "patriotic mov." so you could move it one column upwards between the two "army type" branches or downwards next to "The New Flying Column" since no other focus has any dependencies on it (I'd believe moving it up would look better).
