Hey there!

I’m a quebecois who loves your mod and is a big fan of it. Today I talked with some people on the subreddit regarding Quebec and Canada, and how adding some flavour would be fun. I’m not trying to push my idea or request on you guys since you always got work to do. I looked for a way to support you guys as a translator for french or research but it doesn’t seem like help is needed there. But i’ll still let my mind run free about the ideas I had and the interesting lore you guys could add into your wonderful mod.

To begin, at the moment, Québec generates some unrest in Canada with conscription and all, but since Canada is fairly well protected and stable, I wished to put some spicyness to make playing Canada less of a walk in the park. If, for example, Canada was to reach a very unstable point or would pass some very english leaning reforms, or even a full on absolute monarchy... Québec, leaded by Duplessis, or even better, Henri Bourassa or another nationalist french canadian, could start a full on rebellion. The player could then decide between playing as Canada and destroying the rebels, or play as Québec and fight for independence. Just like Transamur, you would have a limited amount of time to survive against your overlord. And if you were to succeed you would sign a treaty with Canada. Before, into and after the rebellion, depending on how much support of what you lean towards, the International or Germany could support you like the Second American Civil War and maybe influence you. Making you lean towards an ideology or another. Idk if you guys need any help I’d be happy to help in any way possible. Thanks to your work

No, there's no chance of us adding in an armed Quebec revolt. It's simply not going to happen. Aside from being quite unrealistic, we really have enough civil wars in KR as it is.
