This was a fun little run I did on the side the last couple days. I'm liking the new SAF quite a bit.
Unlike what I do with most new reworks and nations where I go and read the approved proposal, this time I wanted to go in with no context whatsoever and just see where the game took me.
I vaguely knew that you could get a syndie SAF, but I somehow didn't achieve that even though I wanted to.
Somehow it is 1941 and I have avoided any civil wars, and the country has been running pretty smoothly. I've been keeping the anti-war sentiments and Boer agitation down as I fight with the Entente. Nice small little army to do some work with.
I'm definitely going to do another SAF run, but this time read the proposal so I can see what interesting paths there are since it seems like I played a pretty tame path in terms of events and chaos.
The one focus which has me excited is about reclaiming British Africa. I wanted to go Syndie so I could push up through Africa as the main power on the continent. Now though I want to try that, and try reclaiming British Africa and see what happens.

Overall though, a very fun experience.
