I'm pretty sure it's because you have no spare IC currently allocated to production, try switching to manual and pulling the production slider to the right and it should go away. It's the same in vanilla (or with the old skin), the interface looks for currently available IC and goes red if it doesn't have any, because it's allocated elsewhere instead. If this is the case, then it's unfortunately a quirk of the game/engine and not something we can fix on our end, I believe.
I've checked with vanilla, and there are 3 colors the production window can show:
When your production slider currently has sufficient IC to build the item.
When your production slider currently has insufficient IC, regardless of how much IC you have allocated elswhere.
When you simply does not have the required amount of manpower.
With the new UI in DH-KR, there is no difference between the "Yellow" state and "Red" state, and both will show "beyond capacity".
I suppose I can make a "yellow" version.
I figured that having "beyond capacity" was clear enough to indicate both situations, but perhaps you have a better suggestion? I'm open to ideas!

Well, since the "yellow" indication does not really mean that you can't build the item, how about showing the "beyond capacity" image only in "red" situations?
That's the plan.
I suppose the "yellow" version can be something like "Stretched Resources" or "Partial Capacity" ?
Do you have a preference?

Both should work, personally I prefer "Stretched Resources" or "Limited Resources".

The production window will always display the "Beyond Capacity" graphics, regardless of my IC or manpower.
