Introduces when I made change to allow pinging...may revert for simplicity sake

Fixed

I'm scrapping the pinging feature I think. Unless someone can figure out a way 
to do
it with the methods we have now and changing very little.

So far every additional feature I added was done with the already existing 
features I
programmed. This would require a little more. I slightly dealt with the overall
problem with the recent networking fixes anyway...
