I am writing to apologize for closing the issue on your GitHub repository without completing it. I was new to GitHub at the time and did not understand the process fully.

I am still interested in using your youtube-transcript package to create a new library that adds new features and functionality to the original package. I would like to request permission to use your code and documentation for this purpose.
