No audio in Bink cinematics with audio fix applied #26

Running with 7.1 surround 48.0 kHz sampling rate

Default Playback Endpoint: Channel Count.: 8 Sample Rate...: 192.0 kHz Data Type.....: 24-Bits

Successfully getting audio in-game and menus, but any Bink Video won't play with audio, checked volume mixer and there is audio detected but I can't hear it. Without the patch installed I am able to hear Bink Videos in ToZ.

Probably because you have your speakers setup not to allow devices to take exclusive control.

Hey, thanks for the reply, just had a look in sound settings to make sure.

It seems mine's been enabled throughout though, kinda stumped why it won't play the audio still, any ideas?

Sorry for the delay, I missed your response somehow.

No, this is not something I have encountered.

The one major difference between Bink and the rest of the game is that Bink uses a DirectSound device with Exclusive mode operation. Getting exclusive mode to work was very problematic when I originally wrote the mod, but it actually worked in reverse. If Bink did not get an exclusive mode DirectSound device it would actually play audio, but as soon as it stopped nothing else would.

Can you paste the output of logs/audio.log ? It is probably very lengthy, if GitHub is not happy, try pastebin.com .
