What is also interesting is that from the ICR to TDD you can also deduce ICR to carbs ratio, which could be usedul for adjusting insulin sensitivity based on daily carb load.

image For example here at TDD of 20U would yield approximately 15 g/U for ICR, which implies total carb load of 300 g/d.

Similarly at TDD of 100U ICR would be 6-7 g/U, implying total carb load of 600-700 g/d. Thus doubling carb load approximately quadruples insulin requirements.

ISF = f(BG, TDD) - drop in replacement for static ISF setting. TDD calculated as weighted 7-day average, heavily weighted towards projection of current day TDD.
