The app now is in f-droid's archive. https://f-droid.org/wiki/page/kaljurand_at_gmail_dot_com.diktofon

Could you fix it?

Also it's sad that the app is no longer maintained. It's my first and favorite recording app.

Can you be more specific on what needs to be fixed. Removing the "antifeatures" identified by F-Droid? Make building simpler (based on Gradle)? Some of it is being done in the gradle-branch (https://github.com/Kaljurand/Diktofon/tree/gradle), although very slowly...

I general, I don't have time to maintain Diktofon. Also I feel that there are much better recording apps out there (although I'm not sure what is available as open source and compatible with F-Droid)? The main idea of Diktofon is to offer search/organization of recordings via their transcription. The recording is better done with an external app, which would offer features not available in Diktofon's recorder (audio compression, silence removal, etc.). Any future updates are unlikely to improve Diktofon's own recorder, rather it would be removed from Diktofon entirely to avoid confusion.

Actually I know nothing about programing and I don't know how to fix the issue. This app https://github.com/dkim0419/SoundRecorder/issues was also in the archive for a long time and had. Now it's not there.

Yes, F-droid doesn't have a lot of decent recording apps. Only SoundRecorder (which is buggy) and Diktofon (which has less bugs and works quite well).

Archive is the really suitable place for old and unmaintained apps. But if you are as determined that this app is still good not just for you then the place to ask is https://gitlab.com/fdroid/fdroiddata/issues/
