Remove spurious print() leftover debug code from d3008ab #40

this commit was previously included in #38, now made it independent so it can be merged separately while I fix the bugs in the other PRs

Suggestion: since this is a tiny 1-line PR, merge this first, so I'm not considered a "first time contributor" and the tests on the other PRs can run without your manual approval on every single commit added
