There's not much to say, easilty reproducable by undervolting a card too much.

Do you get the same issue if you restart a device through pressing G -> R in the ncurses display?

Nostras commented 10 years ago

No.

An example. http://i.imgur.com/FxdIaqU.png Can you spot the crashed gpu?

Kalroth commented 10 years ago

Yup, I've got another user reporting the same issue.

It seems to happen when the GPU dies, not when it's restarted. I'm guessing the GPU device information is somehow reset when it dies. I'm guessing it's an older issue. I might be able to fix it, but there's no ETA on it.

No problem. Not trying to be rude, but I'll stick to sgminer in the meantime. Slap it in the changelog when you get it fixed, I check regularly.

Kalroth commented 10 years ago

No worries, go with what works for you.

I can see from the screenshot that it's an older version, do you remember/know which date it is from?

Nostras commented 10 years ago

First of february.

@Kalroth you might like https://github.com/veox/sgminer/commit/f2f2bcedc73fef6338d501788ca238a83136e377 for easier versioning in bugreports. It is not perfect, but gets the job done.
