This PR has some changes from the previous one because it needs the disk param

no problem, I modified the PR to reflect that

Copying over here the comment regarding disk:

only the disk size should be specified. User should not be able to have multiple disks because the image is created only from one disk, so there is no need for the complex datastructure (disk=xx). It should be a single integer specifying disk size in GB
