Unable to take photos - Error while getting picture: takePicture failed #250

Unable to take photos sending "camera" or "photo" results in the following: 
Error while getting picture: takePicture failed

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.type "camera" or "photo"
2.gtalksms replys Error while getting picture: takePicture failed

What is the expected output?
photo is saved to sdcard

What do you see instead?
Error while getting picture: takePicture failed

Additional informations:
Phone model: Motorola RAZR XT910 - stock not rooted

There is no problem taking photos with my old Nexus One

I am able to switch between front and rear cam but both show the same error

New fixes added.
It works on Nexus 4, GS2 and Galaxy Note 10.1

I hope that is working on every device
